6.0-18.0GHz RF Ferrite SMA Coaxial Isolator

RF amplifier isolator is an important component used in RF power amplifiers (PA).

Its main functions include:

Unidirectional transmission: Ensure that RF signals can only be transmitted in one direction to prevent reflected signals from entering the amplifier, thereby protecting the amplifier from the influence of reverse power.

Improving stability: Helps to enhance the stability of the entire RF system, reducing oscillations and instability caused by reflections.

Protecting power amplifiers: isolating reflected power, reducing damage to power amplifier components, and extending their service life.

When the RF signal is transmitted in the forward direction, the electromagnetic wave can pass through the RF isolator smoothly with only a small insertion loss. When the signal is transmitted in reverse, the ferrite exhibits high impedance, causing the signal transmitted in reverse to be reflected or absorbed, thus achieving unidirectional transmission of the signal.
